In 2001, m2k-laser GmbH was started to commercialize III-V compound semiconductor lasers. This company is specialized on the development and production of optoelectronic components based on the III-V compounds GaAs and GaSb. m2k-laser is the market leader for tapered diode lasers and tapered amplifiers.
